People have lost all their transport just because of liquefaction.If they haven't lost their car they have lost most roads.Sewage pipes have created the streets and outside houses to have sewage all over them and that is only because of sewage pipes snapping from the earthquake.The Christchurch council are just starting to get portable toilets and that not to everyone that is just per street if you are lucky and its only the worst hit areas.
We need to get rubber sewage pipes in peoples houses so then when they have some more aftershocks the percentage of sewage pipes snapping will be very low compered to how many have snapped when they had hard plastic pipes.We should be using rubber pipes because when and earthquake happens the rubber pipes will bend not snap.If we do not put soft plastic pipes in we will have thousands of money spent on putting new pipes in because these cost a little bit more but are way less likely to snap.
The christchurch district council defiantly need to get the streets cleaned up other wise we could have no body moving for up to two years could you imagine walking out side and looking at sewage all over the roads and out side your house it would be the worst living condition the christchurch district council need to get all the sewage cleaned up other wise people will get sick and could even die.
We defiantly need to get sewage pipes in as soon as possible because if we do not we will have sewage pipes blowing up.The amount of injury is so high people have got stuck in the liquefaction they will fall in it and then it will set when they are trying to get out.
So, now that you have got the message why we you difinetly should clean up the sewage, put in rubber pipes and put in potable toilets and clean up the roads I hope you will go ahead with this.
